Easthampton Cultural Council is partnering with neighborhood businesses
to create spaces for Easthampton grantees to show their work
Throughout 2020, artwork will be installed and displayed in Easthampton storefronts. Easthampton Cultural Council is asking grantees past and present to submit between one and three works. The work can be work that would have been shown during quarantine as well as older work and/or new work.
BEFORE YOU ENTER:
Your submission should indicate size of work(s), format, as well as photographs of piece(s) for submission (photos do not need to be professional quality).
2D or 3D art allowed.
Rolling deadline for submission.
AFTER YOU ENTER:
Each artist will be partnered with a neighborhood business to create an installation in the storefront/display window of that business.
Notifications will be sent to artists for the business(es) that would like to work with them. Artist has the right to refuse to work with any particular storefront.
Easthampton Cultural Council does not control business's selection of artists.
All details of the installation will be determined by the artist together with their partner neighborhood business, including the method of installation, etc.
Installation will occur on a rolling basis. Coordination of installation will be negotiated between the artist and shop owner. If you cannot commit to this installation process, please do not submit an entry.
