This STEM workshop: Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics, will cover basic aerodynamics and flight control. Each patron will receive their own kit containing the materials required to assemble an air powered Rocket and Airplane. Upon completion of the kits, and prior to flight, there will be a Q&A discussion about properties of flight: thrust, drag, lift, and gravity, and flight control: the cause and effects of air flowing over the control surfaces. With this knowledge, patrons will be challenged with flight tests such as: length of flight, flight accuracy, controlled banks and turns, and stunts.
During the program, trivia questions will be asked about the history of flight and space exploration.
